Partial review but mostly a rant. If you want to go out with a group of friends, eat sub par food and be profiled by security, then Robinson is the place for you! We've been playing here for years and decided to try a restaurant special they had...this would turn out to be our first mistake. After eating, we (a group of 6) wandered around playing some games which turned into a 6 hour venture. We were all having fun up until 3am when a security guard walked up, tapped one person in our group on the shoulder and asked if he could talk to him aside from the rest of us. The guard told him that security wanted him to leave since he was not playing a game. He explained to security that he had been playing all night, was with a group and not driving (easily verified through surveillance if they gave two shits). When they approached him, we were all standing around watching a friend play a machine and having a good time. At least 2 other people in the group had stopped gambling easily before midnight (myself included). The person they pulled aside was playing a machine about 20 mins before this happened but yet he was asked to leave for not playing. Our question to the guards was why they had singled him out and what was the protocol for determining how long is too long to be there without playing, which neither one could answer and no supervisor was available. We are a diverse group of people and it truly felt as though they singled out an African American male who hadn't played for 20 minutes while overlooking the caucasians that hadn't played in hours! He was the only one asked to leave...not the group. We requested the name of the guards involved to file a formal complaint. Robinson security needs retraining and to be more observant because I saw more shit go down on the casino floor and in the parking lot but yet they're worried about the guy not playing a machine for 20 mins. 😒 Anyway, thanks for the winnings, shitty food and piss poor 'security guards' that are really only good at opening the doors (sometimes).

apparently robinson is a huge contributor to the methademic here in this county and that is a known fact by all local law enforcement agencies which ends me to believe it is allowed and in some ways a lot of things are looked over as they're not important as the drug operation.

ReplyDeleteWas it the big bald white guard? My hubby use to gamble there and we use to eat at the restaurant all the time until one of the security guard decided to be a sick several times. We've never needed an id to eat at the restaurant until this dick decided we couldn't. The restaurant is awesome it just has a bunch of crappy guards that have no clue about customer service in a small town.
